About Southwell Equine Assisted Learning
Southwell Equine Assisted Learning (SEAL) is situated on the outskirts of Southwell and runs sessions from two sites. One is in the beautiful rural hamlet of Winkburn with ponies, chickens and rabbits and there is access to super countryside and woodland walks.
Sessions are run throughout the year and in all weathers. There is also an indoor space with handwashing and toilet facilities.
There are have four Shetland ponies- three miniature and one standard.
SEAL is run by Kris, who has many years experience of working with young people, most of whom have Special Educational Needs or are not in Education or Training. Kris is also a freelance riding instructor and teaches clients of all ages on a regular basis.

Accreditations:
Southwell Equine Assisted Learning is an EAQ Approved Centre and as such is able to offer nationally-recognised qualifications from OCNLR in a range of subjects including employability, animal care, horticulture, maths and English.
