About EAQ Dyfi Donkeys Equine Assisted Learning
EAQ Dyfi Donkeys is situtated in a rural location at Commins Coch near Machynlleth and serves the communities in North Powys, North East Ceredigion and South Gwynedd, Wales.
The centre offers equine assisted learning with 11 donkeys ranging in age from 4 to 25 of all sizes and colours. They live together on 45 acres of mixed pasture, paddocks and woodlands.
The donkeys have access to covered sheds and a stable yard which is ideal for sessions during inclement weather. There is also a large canopied outdoor classroom located in the woodland which is used in the summertime and a 20x40m sand school.
The centre specialises in working with children, young people and adults with learning and behavioural difficulties as well as adults with mental ill-health.
