About EAQ Mid Somerset
EAQ Mid Somerset is based just outside Pawlett near Bridgwater and has been running since 2017.  The centre has wonderful views over the Quantock Hills, the Pawlett Hams and the estuary of the River Parrett. Learners are able to take the horses for a walk along the fields and beside the river. Sessions are available for children and young people who are looked-after or who are finding school difficult as well as for those who simply want to learn more about themselves.  The horses live together as a herd in a wonderful outdoor environment. There is no riding involved.

Sessions are tailored to the needs of each individual and the staff use an experiential, person-centred approach which enables learners to develop their skills in their own way and at their own pace.

The centre is run by Hillside and Hams Ltd, a not for profit organisation led by Anne Warner, who was one of the first in the UK to complete the Level 4 Certificate in Facilitating Equine Assisted Learning and is now an EAQ Advanced Facilitator.
